Mr. Melvin T. Wiggins, Jr.
Mr. Melvin Tyrone Wiggins, Jr. was born in Americus, Sumter County, Georgia on July 17, 1999, to the late Mr. Melvin Tyrone Wiggins, Sr. and Ms. Sherita Green. He was a 2017 Honor Graduate of Americus Sumter County High School. He attended Albany State College, where he was a sophomore and in the Albany State Honors Program. He was employed at Waffle House in Americus, Georgia.
In addition to his father, Melvin Tyrone Wiggins, Sr., he is preceded in death by his step-father, Anthony Lowe, Sr.; his grandparents, Allen and Nellie Green, Helen Wiggins, Frankie Jenkins Antione and Freddie Huell.
His memories will continue in the hearts of his family and friends. Mr. Leroy Williams, Sr. was born in Sumter County, Georgia on March 22, 1935, to the parentage of the late Mr. Doc Williams, Sr. and the late Mrs. Ethel Mae Myers Williams. He received his education in the public schools of Sumter County. He was married to the late Mrs. Katie Frank Harvey Williams. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Ms. Blanche Glaze; four brothers: Doc Williams, Jr., Tommie Williams, Sr., James McArthur Williams and Willie Robert Williams, Sr.
He leaves to cherish his memories, three sons: Mr. Leon Harvey and friend, Ms. Deann Henderson, Albany, GA; Mr. Leroy Williams, Jr. and friend, Adrienne and Mr. David Lee (LaShonda) Williams of Americus, GA; one daughter, Ms. Josie Mae Sheffield, Albany, GA; one sister, Ms. Lizzie B. Robinson, Plains, GA; four sisters-in-law: Ms. Fannie Harvey, Ms. Collie Williams of Americus, GA; Ms. Annie Maude Harvey, Reading, PA and Ms. Louise Williams, Fort Myers, FL; two brothers-in-law, Mr. Rufus Harvey and Mr. Joe Harvey, Jr. of Reading, PA; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive.

Mrs. Delorn Jones Cooper was born January 5, 1944, in Leary, Georgia to the late Mr. Frank Jones, Sr. and the late Mrs. Effie Chester Jones. She was educated in the Calhoun County Public Schools, graduating from the H. T. Singleton High School in Morgan, Georgia. She was married to the late Rev. Eugene Cooper for more than 37 years and to their union, Krista and Kimberly were born. She was a seamstress with Manhattan Shirt Company for many years. She was very active in the community as a Girl Scout Leader, member of the NAACP, a member of the Ministers' Wives and Widows Alliance, a Girl Scouts Troop Leader, and was Co-Founder and First Lady of the Bibleway Fellowship Center, Inc. She is preceded by a son, Larry Eugene Cooper; a grandson, Torriano Robinson Cooper; and a brother, Charles Jones.
