Carl Randolph Martin

Mr. Carl Randolph Ford Martin was born to the now deceased Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Martin (Bernice Ford) on February 28, 1945, and was raised by his deceased grandparents Arthur and Emma Ford in Americus, Georgia. He resided in Americus, Georgia until he passed. Carl attended Staley High School and eventually began his working career with Shiver Lumber Company where he was a dedicated, loyal and beloved employee until his passing. He often expressed his indelible love for the entire staff at Shiver Lumber Company. Carl never met a stranger and was loved by everyone he met. His smile was like a shining star on a cloudy day to many in the community.

Ford Martin leaves to mourn: his son, Emmitt (Theresa) Martin; five grandchildren: Darrel Hatton, Annetonette Hatton, Daireck (Melissa) Hatton, Ahjahtay Martin and Ahnoyea Martin; four great grandchild: Peyton Hatton, Kestrell Glover, Kristian Glover and Mavis Hatton; one sister, Mary Martin; one brother, Rickey Martin; several nieces and nephews; special cousins: Linda Ford Harris, Greenville, SC; Diane Ford Gardner, Atlanta, GA; Marian Ford Johnson, Americus, GA and Aaron Ford, Sr., and a host of other cousins and special friends.

Infant Qwinterrious Dodson, Jr.

Infant Qwinterrious Jerod Dodson, Jr. was born on August 15, 2019, to the parents of Mr. Qwinterrious Jerod Dodson and Ms. Johnisha Johnson both whom survives.


He is preceded in death by a great grandfather, Mr. Ernest Griffin, Jr.; great grandmother, Ms. Jeanette Dodson; great-great grandmother, Ms. Louise Griffin and Ms. Sarah Mercer and a great-great grandfather, Mr. Eldridge Mercer, Sr.


In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings: Jayden and Jayce Johnson, Americus, GA; his grandparents: Ms. Marsha Robinson and Ms. Latressa Dodson of Americus, GA; Mr. John Johnson, Albany, GA and Mr. Demetrius Hubbard, Sr., Desoto, GA; his great grandparents: Ms. Joyce Hosley and Mr. Claude Dodson, both of Americus, GA; his great-great grandfather, Mr. Ernest James Griffin, Sr., Americus, GA; six aunts: Ms. Trelisha Johnson, Ms. Shantoya Hill, Ms. Kamiyahia Bush, Ms. Nakyhia Johnson, Ms. Dreamisha King, Ms. Shirahz Dodson, all of Americus, GA and a devoted aunt, Mrs. Kim (Don) Mercer, Leslie, GA; three uncles: Mr. Shawn Robinson, Jr., Mr. Tayvis Dodson and Mr. Ruhemmeion King, all of Americus, GA; a devoted godfather, Mr. Eric (Shaneka) Frederick, Americus, GA and a host of other relatives also survive.

Ms. Dorothy Ann Luster Wilson

Ms. Dorothy Ann Luster Wilson was born in Sumter County, Georgia on March 24, 1957, to the parentage of the late Mr. James Luster, Sr. and the late Ms. Everine Clark Luster. She received her education in the public schools of Sumter County. She was a member of the New Corinth Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by three brothers: Mr. Willie Luster, Mr. Charles Luster and Mr. James Luster, Jr. and a sister, Ms. Betty Wilson.


She leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Mr. Michael (Christina) Wilson; four godsons: Mr. David Banks, Jr., Mr. Tony Banks, Mr. Mark Banks and Mr. Michael Banks, all of Americus, GA; three daughters: Ms. Patricia Wilson, Columbus, GA; Ms. Kathy (Johnny) Wilson, Blackshear, GA and Mrs. Cherronda (Charles) Tookes, Americus, GA; a goddaughter, Ms. Crystal Tatum; one brother, Mr. Oscar (Ivy Lee) Luster, Plains, GA; one sister, Ms. Gloria Lester; an aunt, Ms. Hannah Luster; 14 grandchildren: Riyod and friend Terercia, Dimitri, Ty’keha, Monifah, Diamond, Ray’qu, TreyQuan, Jaleen, Kedajah, Jakese, Courviier, Ja’Shon, Zykel, and Caleb; four great grandchildren: Samiya, Chase, Chance, Deavion, Christina, Dyamond, Kristen and Kayten; and a host of nieces, including a devoted niece, Ms. Kenyatta Lester, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including a devoted friend, Ms. Rosie Cole also survive.

Mr. Gerald Dean Waldon was born in Volusia County, Florida on October 7, 1996, to the parents of Mr. Darrell Waldon and Ms. Phyllis Jackson. He attended the Freedom Park Elementary School in Augusta, Georgia; OSAN Middle School in Osan, Korea; and the Junction City High School in Junction City, Kansas, where he received his diploma. Gerald joined the Cornisha Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church of Key West, Florida. He was a telecommunications representative of the Telaperformace Company in Augusta, GA. He was loved by all who knew him. Gerald enjoyed traveling with his aunts, uncles and mother. Gerald would often spend his time overseas meeting new people, creating lifelong friendships. He admired the hard work and dedication of his mother, prompting him to become a member of JROTC. Once while traveling overseas, he celebrated his birthday while flying over Russia. His favorite past time was enjoying family time and playing video games. He relished the fact that he could out score any friend or relative. If there was a new game out, it was guaranteed he owned it. Family time was equally important for Gerald as he would often visit and vacation with all his aunts and grandparents. Gerald was currently studying to take the ASVAB in hopes that he, too, would become a member of the Armed Forces. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis Lee Waldon, Henry and Juanita Johnson; his great grandmother, Geraldine Harris; and a nephew, Jeremiah Cooke.

In addition to his mother, Ms. Phyllis Jackson, Augusta, GA and his father, Mr. Darrell (Danelle)  Waldon, Key West, FL, he leaves to cherish his memories, his sisters:  Tianna Waldon, Miami, FL; Jada and Shyla Waldon, Key West, FL; Serenity Jackson, Lawton, OK ; a brother, DaQuan Cooke, Buffalo, NY;  his grandparents, Rev. James and Mrs. Beulah Jackson, Americus, GA; four aunts: Mrs. Hope (Anthony) McClendon, Fort Valley, GA; Mrs. Patricia (Brian) Jackson, Jacksonville, FL; Ms. Penny Jackson and friend, Gregory Jones, Augusta, GA and Ms. Terry Lynn Richie, California; two uncles, Rev. Marcus Jackson, Syracuse, NY and Mr. Louis Lee Waldon, III of California; and a host of nieces, including Iysis Robinson, Miami, FL; nephews, including, Royalty Warren, Miami, FL and Dawson Brown, Buffalo, NY; cousins, other relatives and friends also survive.
