MRS. ESTELLE MAJORS

Ms. Estella Hays Majors was born in Marion County, Georgia on July 13, 1913 to the parentage of the late Mr. Tom Hays and the late Ms. Della Johnson. She was raised by her grandparents, the late Mr. Charlie Johnson and the late Mrs. Kate Johnson. She received her education in the public schools of Marion County. At an early age, she joined Friendship Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Daniel Thomas. She was a domestic home maker. She married the late Mr. Hosea Majors on December 31, 1937 and to this union two children were born, Annie Inez Majors Dodson and Eddie Majors, both precedes her in death.

Ms. Majors leaves to mourn her passing four grandchildren, Mrs. Tammy (Kenneth) Hamilton, Mrs. Kimberly (Stephen) Jackson, Mr. Marcus Majors all of Americus, GA and Mr. Christopher (Michelle) Poole of Houston, TX; nine great grandchildren, Marquis Majors, Alexis Dodson, Jasmine Poole, Justin Smith, Arianna Poole, Michael Terry, Trinnity Poole, Ayden Jackson and Dennisia Jackson; a son-in-law, Mr. Joseph Dodson, Americus, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive.
