MS. ANNIE WILLIAMS Ms. Annie Marie Williams, affectionately called “ReRe”, was born on July 11, 1960 in Hillsboro County, Tampa, Florida to the parentage of the late Mrs. Johnnie Mae Williams and Mr. Roy Williams, who survives. She was educated in the public schools of Sumter County, graduating from Americus High School in 1978. She later attended South Georgia Technical School earning a degree in Culinary Arts. Before her health failed, she was employed as a dietician for the Sumter County School district. She gave her life to Christ at an early age joining Welcome Baptist Church but later moved her membership to Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church where she served as an usher.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Mrs. Arabell Austin; several uncles and an aunt: Mr. Booker T. Solomon, Mr. George Austin, Mr. Algea Dowdell, Mr. Robert Lusane and Ms. Naradine Walker; and two great uncles: Mr. Curtis Jones and Mr. George Engram.
She leaves to mourn her loss: her father, Mr. Roy Williams, Hollywood, FL; her sisters: Ms. Cheryl Mann and Ms. JoAnn Trujillo, both of Americus, GA; her brothers: Mr. Michael Williams and friend, Ms. Gwen Bateman and Mr. Woodrow Harris, Jr., both of Americus, GA; aunts: Ms. Ruby Lee Lusane, Ms. Ethel Dowdell, Ms. Georgie Mae Solomon, all of Americus, GA, Ms. Myrtis Brown, Charleston, SC and Ms. Vera Dowdell, East Orange, NJ; her uncles: Mr. Charles Miller, Mr. Willie Walker, both of Americus, GA and Mr. John Tripp of East Orange, NJ; a host of nieces and nephews: Ms. Montoya Rutherford and friend Erin Richardson, Ms. Demetria M. Williams, Mr. Michael Williams, Ms. Felicia Mann, Ms. Chatney Hayes, Ms. Tiffany Smith and Mr. Jason Trujillo; one great niece, Miss Layla Richardson; and other relatives and friends also survive.
