MR. KIRK LE’NARD ADAMS Mr. Kirk Le’nard Adams was born in Sumter County, Georgia on October 14, 1963 to the parentage of the late Mrs. Nettie Pearl Adams-Howard and Mr. Ernest Sheffield. He received his education in the public schools of Sumter County, graduating from Americus High School in 1982. Soon after, he attended South Georgia Technical College. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ms. Katie Berryhill, Mr. George Sheffield, Sr., Mr. Felton Adams and Mrs. Leomie Adams; four uncles, Mr. Fletcher Adams, Mr. Arthur Lee Adams, Mr. Charles Raven and Mr. George Sheffield, Jr.; two aunts, Ms. Mary Virginia Adams Raven and Ms. Annie Clara Greene. In addition to his father and step-mother, Mr. Ernest (Edna) Sheffield, Atlanta, GA, he leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Mr. Trenton Jamal Shelton-Adams, Jonesboro, GA; two brothers, Mr. Eric J. (Monique) Sheffield, Atlanta, GA and Mr. Leroy (Cassandra) Myrick, Americus, GA; one sister, Ms. Kimberly Sheffield, Atlanta, GA; one uncle, Mr. Robert E. Green, Myrtle Beach, SC; three aunts, Ms. Bobbie J. Adams, Ms. Juanita Sampson and Ms. Mary Louise Adams all Americus, GA; two great aunts, Ms. Eula Hodges, Tampa, Fl and Ms. Emma Jean Minter, Ellaville, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, including devoted cousins, Ms. Angela M. (Mitchell) Ellerby, Moss Pointe, MS, Ms. Ivy McGrady, Jonesboro, GA, Mr. Bobby Green, Ms. Danielle Green, Myrtle Beach, SC, Ms. Kristin N. Raven and Mr. L. Jaylen Mikale Johnson both of Americus, GA, Mr. Andrew (Della) Thomas, Columbia, SC, Ms. Debbie Tyson, Columbus, GA, Mr. Alexander (Verna) Thomas, Americus, GA; other relatives and friends, including a devoted friends, Ms. Marilyn Johnson, Americus, GA and Ms. Debra Shelton-Kenny, Jonesboro, GA and the Classmates of 1981-82 also survive.
