MR. GEORGE FOSTER

Mr. George Foster was born in Sumter County, Georgia on April 26, 1942 to the late Mr. Jessie Foster, Sr. and the late Mrs. Leila Mae Mitchell Foster. He received his education in the public schools of Sumter County. He moved to new York at a young age, and began work Bay Terrace Apartments as the maintenance technician. He retired after more than twenty years of service. After his health begin to fail he moved back to Americus, Georgia to be cared for by his devoted daughter, Ms. Beverly Jones.

In addition to his devoted daughter, Ms. Beverly Jones, Albany, GA, he leaves to cherish his memories, daughters, Ms. Carol Foster, Atlanta, GA and Ms. Sharon Lynn Foster, Brooklyn, NY; one son, Mr. Jeffery Foster, Brooklyn, NY; two god-daughters, Ms. Desmelda Faye Hill, Americus, GA and Ms. Alexis Campbell, Brooklyn, NY; one god-son, Mr. Brian Morgan, Greenwich, NY; two sisters, Ms. Mary Ellen Banks, Cordele, GA and Ms. Jossie Foster Ross, Long Island, NY; one brother, Mr. McKenize Jenkins, Savannah, GA; ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Ms. Bessie Foster, Desoto, GA and Ms. Tommie Foster, Americus, GA; one aunt, Ms. Eunice Jordan, Vienna, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends, including devoted friends, Ms. Sarah Pride, Americus, GA, Ms. Minnie M. Wilson, Americus, GA and Ms. Gwendolyn Burnett, Savannah, GA also survive.
