MRS. ROSA BURTON was born in Schley County, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. Royal Wallace and the late Mrs. Nettie Lee Burton Wallace. She was educated in Schley and Sumter Counties in Georgia. Rosa joined Friendship Baptist Church under the pastorate of the late Rev. Frank Johnson. She was an avid, devoted, and faithful church member of the congregation of the Friendship Baptist Church for over 60 plus years. 

Rosa was married to Willie Burton. She had no biological kids of her own, she took on the task of being the matriarch and mother to her entire family.
