Ms. Ernestine N. White was born in Sumter County, Georgia on March 18, 1950 to the parentage of the late Mr. Cephas Nelms and the late Mrs. Julia Asberry Nelms. She received his education and a was graduate of the pubic schools of Sumter County. At an early age, she joined the Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She was employed for 21 years with Wincup Manufacturer, the maker of styrofoam cups and containers.


           She leaves to cherish her memories, her two sons, Mr. Quinton Tucker, and Mr. Alonzo (Felicia) White both of Atlanta, GA; one daughter, Ms. Pamela White, Atlanta, GA; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Jean (Eddie) Turner, Griffin, GA, Mrs. Pauline (Horace) Tyson, Decatur, GA and Ms. Julia F. Smith, West Palm Beach, FL; seven grandchildren, Antoinette Tucker, Quenton Tucker, II, Quincy Tucker, Pete White, Quatesha White, Deshuna “Terry” Neal, Quatazious White and Marquis Rucker; four great grandchildren, Aiden Merrell, Justin Simpson, Jr., Ahmir Maurice White and Tamia Smith; one uncle, Mr. Jimmy Asberry, Andersonville, GA; one aunt, Ms. Minnie Asberry, Detroit, MI; three sisters-in-law, Ms. Perlean Jackson, Ms. Nancy Jackson and Ms. Percilia Jackson; one brother-in-law, Mr. Johnny Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends also survive.
