MS. LOIS BRYANT

Sister Lois Bryant was born in Lee County, Georgia on December 4, 1923. She was the daughter of the late  James Gene Bryant and the late Lettice West. She received her education in the public schools of Lee County. At an early age, she joined the Piney Grove Baptist Church. After moving to Leslie, Georgia, she attended the Tabernacle Baptist Church. Lois was employed at Bobs Candy Factory in 1955. She worked there diligently for thirty-two years until she retired with plans to travel, fish and spend time with her family.

She leaves to cherish her memories five devoted children: Laura Mays Wright, Cobb, GA, Lillie Mays Heard, Leesburg, GA, Dr. Willie Nell (Rev. Cornelius) Pitts, Enid, OK, Samuel Whitehead, Ft. Worth, TX and Doris (Henry) Holt, Ft. Riley, KS; one mourning sister, Mae Lou Thompson, Leesburg, GA; 11 faithful grandchildren: Malora Palmer, Dr, Alicia (Capt. Terry) Troutman, Timothy (Bonnie) Wright, Keithon Heard, Dr. Kimberly Heard, Kendrell Heard, Elijah Pitts, Elisabeth Pitts, Natoia Williams, Alex Holt, and Alyesse Holt; 9 precious great grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, friends, and other mourning survivors including her extraordinary neighborhood family members, Martha Ann Blackshear, Alice Stewart and Barbara Stewart.
