MRS. MARY C. HILL

Mrs. Mary Crawford Hill was born in Macon County, Georgia on April 11, 1919 to the parentage of the late Mr. John Crawford and the late Mrs. Pearl Smith Crawford. At an early age, she joined the Old Shady Grove Baptist Church. Later, she attended the Union Tabernacle Baptist Church with her daughter, Pearlie. She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Mr. Joseph Hill. To this union eight children were born and raised. She is preceded in death by her son, Mr. Joseph Hill, Jr. and a grandchild, Kobe Roberts.

 

She leaves to cherish her memories five daughters, Ms. Pearlie Hill, Mrs. Emma (S.T.) Jenkins, Americus, GA, Mrs. Janie (Joseph) Roberts, Mrs. Annie Berry and Ms. Willie Jo Mercer all of Leslie, GA; one son, Mr. Lee (Doretha) Mitchell, Tampa, FL; one brother, Mr. Henry Crawford, Tampa, FL; one sister, Ms. Janie Moore, Melbourne, FL; three sisters-in-law, Ms. Vera Barnett, Pittsburgh, PA, Ms. Fannie Hill, Americus, GA and Ms. Goldie Clarit, Miami, FL; nineteen grandchildren, Ms. Tanisha H. Goolsby, Ms. LaKesia West, Mrs. Shanda (Latrell) Bolden, Mr. Antonio (Marlene) Roberts, Mr. Christopher Roberts, Mr. Tavoris (Felicia Miller) Mercer, Mr. Andreaus (Angela Smith) Roberts, Ms. Shana Roberts, Ms. Kenedria Roberts, Ms. Latavia Perkins, Ms. Candace Davis, Ms. Monica Mitchell, Ms. Tamika Mitchell, Ms. Tayonna Mitchell, Mr. Terrell Tyson, Ms. Thedoshia Cooper, Ms. Yi”Kevia Jordan, Ms. E’myiah Harper and Ms. Dominique Livingston; nineteen great grandchildren, Ashley, Asia, Brianna, Aaliyah, Quintrevious, Jeterious, Latrell, Jr., Jeffery, Antonio, Jr., Taylor, Jalandria, Alaysia, Chasen, Ashton, Jordan, Braylon, Quinton, Jr., Kaylon, and Little Ms. Morgan; four nieces, Henrietta, Christine, Jeanette and Delores; four nephews, Bruce, John Henry, William and John L.; and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins other relatives and friends also survive.
