MS. DIANA BANKS

 

Ms. Diane Banks, affectionately called “Teeny” was born on March 9, 1955 to the parentage of the late Mr. Lewis Banks, Sr. and the late Mrs. Ruby Mae Lillard Banks. She received her education in the Sumter County School System. At an early age, she joined the Union Tabernacle Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by four brothers and a loving companion, Mr. Jessie Floyd, Jr.

       She leaves to mourn her passing, two daughters, Ms. Cotina Robinson (Raye) and Ms. Katrina Banks (Walter Bridges) both of Americus, GA; one son, Mr. John (Ashley) Banks, Lake City, FL; nine grandchildren, Shaquetta, Shonte, Javoris, Dontavius, Quan’tavius and Shyneka all of Americus, GA, Jac’Quavius of Columbus, GA, Jarvis and Mason of Lake City, FL; two great grandchildren, Ar’Nealia and Ar’Nyah both of Americus, GA; three brothers, Mr. Curtis (Annie Bell) Banks, Mr. Lewis (Virginia) Banks, Jr. and Mr. Elbert Banks all of Americus, GA; three sisters, Mrs. Queen (Johnny) Smith, Ms. Romell Banks and Ms. Rachel Banks all of Americus, GA; two aunts, Ms. Romell Barber and Ms. Rosa Banks of Americus, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends, including devoted friends, Ms. Annie Pride, Ms. Eula Bridges, Ms. Patricia Dorsey, Ms. Ernestine Davis and Mr. David Foster all of Americus, GA also survive.
