MR. DWELLIES WILDER

Mr. Dwellies  Wilder affectionately called “Pookie” was born in Miami, Dade County, Florida on July 4, 1955 to the parentage of Mr. Willie Wilder and the late Mrs. Minnie Osborne. He received his education in the public schools of Dade County, Florida.  On March 8, 1973, he entered the United States Air Force and was Honorably discharged on May 5, 1975.  In 1982, he moved to Americus, Sumter County, Georgia. He attended the Old Shady Grove Baptist Church. He was employed by Warren Scott Construction Company. He is preceded in death by a son, Mr. Dwellies Wilder, Jr. and a brother, Mr. Willie Wilder.

In addition to his father, Mr. Willie Wilder of Macon, GA, he leaves to mourn his passing, three sons, Mr. Eric D. Jackson, Americus, GA, Mr. Derrick K. (Adrean) Wilder, Chester, PA and Mr. Dwellies Wilder, II of Miami, FL; one daughter, Mrs. Minnie (Oliver) Simmons, Beaufort, SC; one brother, Mr. Ervin Wilder, Miami, FL; two step-daughters, Mrs. Sharell (Eldoardo) Castillo, Oceanview, CA and Mrs. Monique (Chris) Flippin, Seattle, WA; one step-son, Mr. Artis Lee Hightower, Jr. and friend, Ms. Melissa Green, Americus, GA; six grandchildren, Sindericka, Adrielle, Erica, A’Reanna, Eric and Charity; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends also survive.
