MRS. ELIZABETH YOUNG WEST

            Mrs. West was born March 22, 1922 in Plains, GA. She was the last surviving child of Zack and Mrs. Mami Young.  She is preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Jean Shaw, brothers, Luther, Ulysses, Zack Jr. and Willie James, and sisters, Alice Mae and Alberta.  On December 31, 1940, she married Mr. Mack West, Jr.  Her husband of 70 years survives.

 

            Also surviving are two daughters, Bess (Morris) String, Ernestine (Vernon) Nicholson; two sons Clifton West and Joseph (Barbara) West; a son-in-law, Frank Shaw, a sister-in-law, Mattie Pearl Bowens; a host of grand and great grand children, other relatives and friends, also survive.
