MRS. ALICE THORNTON

  Mrs. Alice Ruth Hoston Thornton was born in Sumter County, Georgia on Nov. 12, 1951 to the parentage of Mr. Johnny Love of Fort Myers, FL and the late Mrs. Mary Iverson Love. She worked as a Nurse’s Assistant for many years before her health declined.

       In addition to her father, she leaves to mourn her passing, one son, Mr. Grover Thornton, Jr., Americus, GA; two daughters, Ms. Sarah (Tavares) Reynolds, Americus, GA and Mrs. Cynthia (Curtis) Griffin, Riverdale, GA; five brothers, Mr. William (Mary) Hoston, Leslie, GA, Mr. Timothy Holmes, Mr. Aldean (Michelle) Holmes, Mr. Willie Holmes, Mr. Ricardo Holmes, Americus, GA, Mr. Silas Love and Mr. Paul Love, Fort Myers, FL; four sisters, Ms. Stella Mae Love, Tallahassee, FL, Ms. Lizzie Holmes, Mrs. Johnny Mae (David) Reddick, West Palm Beach, FL and Ms. Johnnie Mae Love, Fort Myers, FL; five grandchildren, Kendrick Thornton, Christopher Reynolds, Terrell Reynolds, Lataisha Reynolds and Ernest Reynolds; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends also survive.
